"Boys": a pullover collection in collaboration with Sabrina Salerno

It made entire generations dance with its joy and positivity: it was May 29, 1987 when the single "Boys (Summertime Love)" quickly climbed the charts making Sabrina Salerno famous throughout Europe. Today, "Boys" continues to spread joy and becomes an exclusive capsule collection of colored pullovers, made by Nicki Colombo in collaboration with the artist.

Mario Colombo met Sabrina Salerno for the first time in November 2020, inviting her to visit the headquarters of Badoere with its nineteenth-century hand looms. After a brief presentation of the history of the company, which for years has been at the forefront in supporting Made in Italy throughout the production process, a sharing of ideals has allowed the collaboration to start. This is how the “Boys” sweaters collection was born, made of pure cotton with wool embroidery on the front and available in five fluorescent colors, which reflect the positive and full of vitality soul of Sabrina Salerno: yellow, orange, fucsia, green and blue.

As every Nicki Colombo product, sweaters are completely Made in Italy, made with raw materials selected from certified supply chain. Together with Sabrina Salerno we have also designed an exclusive packaging, to make this limited edition even more special. Each pullover of the capsule, in numbered edition, has a card autographed by hand and is as well scented with the favorite perfume of the singer.

Thanks to the "Boys" capsule you can wear a catchphrase and a piece of Italian craftsmanship at the same time. The sweaters can be purchased on the official Sony Italia Store for the Italian market, or directly on our online shop for shipments abroad.
